They provide safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to economic stability and permanent housing. Alexandria House is intentionally multicultural and anti-racist, and the needs of women who are economically poor are at the center of their committment.

Village for Vets
Village for Vets fills critical gaps in key services for homeless and at-risk veterans in greater Los Angeles. Through programs providing meals, emergency grants, support for basic needs, social support, and links to additional services, Village for Vets helps ensure Los Angeles� homeless and at-risk veterans don�t fall through the cracks.

El Centro de Ayuda is a non-profit organization located in Boyle Heights community. Their mission is to promote social, emotional, academic and economic self-sufficiency, through a continuum of human services.

The mission of the Violence Intervention Program is to protect and treat all victims of family violence and sexual assault, and for 30 years, has been executing and expanding that vision.

Jewish Family Service is a nonprofit social service organization that supports people of all faiths as they navigate through life's challenges - illness, aging, financial uncertainty, mental health concerns, family problems, or personal issues. JFS strengthens individuals and families of all backgrounds through counseling, advocacy, care management, and community education.

Partnership for Los Angeles Schools transform schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education. They have accelerated student achievement while scaling successes across their network and beyond.


A New Way of Life Reentry Project
A New Way of Life Reentry Project's mission is to advance multi-dimensional solutions to the effects of incarceration. They provide housing and support for formerly incarcerated women for successful community reentry, family reunification, and individual healing, they work to restore the civil rights of formerly incarcerated people, and they empower, organize, and mobilize formerly incarcerated people as advocates for social change and personal transformation.��

Harvest Home
Harvest Home is a residential program that serves homeless pregnant women and their babies. All women enter the program while they are pregnant, and stay on average between 3 and 6 months after the birth of their child. Harvest Home offers a nurturing, structured program aimed at helping each woman make changes in her life in order to attain independence and stability.


San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission
The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission operates a 90-bed family shelter, offering hope, shelter and safe, supportive housing to thousands of families who are homeless. The facility includes private family bedrooms, a commercial kitchen, common dining room and living spaces, meeting rooms, computer education center, playground and garden � all geared toward helping families achieve a brighter future.


Angel's Nest
Angels Nest Transitional Living Program�s mission is to support current and former foster youth exiting the foster care system who are at risk of homelessness. They serve these young adults as they pursue a college degree to become independent, self-supporting, community leaders. They also provide services including housing, career development, and life-skills training to overcome past trauma and break the cycle in their own families and communities to reach their fullest potential.
